- For your sports garters you ask me to purchase a lapel pin badge. I don't know what a lapel pin badge is / my team does not have a lapel pin badge available?
Which payment methods do you accept?
Payment can be made by credit card, by cheque or by bank transfer:
- Credit Cards: We need the card number, issue date and the registered address of the card holder. We can accept Mastercard, VISA and American Express.
- Debit Cards: We need the card number, issue date, issue number (if applicable) and the registered address of the card holder. We can accept Switch/Sold and Delta cards.
- Cheques: They must be in UK pounds sterling and made payable to Fripperies. Goods will be dispatched once payment has cleared our bank (which takes approximately 7 days).
- Bank Transfer: Please contact us for instructions.
How do I order your products through your website?
The site uses a shopping cart which calculates the value of the items ordered and calculates the post and packing charges prior to checkout.
Your credit card details will be taking at the end of the checkout process. Payment can be made by credit card or cheque in UK pounds sterling (made payable to Fripperies. If paying by cheque, goods will not be dispatched until the cheque has cleared at our bank (which takes approximately 7 days).
To protect your details during transit between your computer and our processing server, they are encrypted using a secure web page (SSL).
Do you sell products by mail order?
Yes.
Orders can be placed by mail, phone or fax. Please use the model numbers given on the site and specify the required colour from the range available.
What are your UK post and packing charges?
Post & packing in the UK is:
- Order value up to £35.00 - £3.95
- Order value from £35.01 to £60.00 - £6.75
- Order value over £60.01 - £8.00
We do operate a 24 hour Delivery service in the UK. Please contact us for pricing.
What sizes do you produce your garters in?
Our garters / garter belts are produced in a standard size that will comfortably fit a leg with a circumference of 25 inches (approximately 635 millimetres).
However we also make plus size garters to fit any ladies size. Please measure your leg circumference and contact us for pricing.
How do I measure my leg circumference for a garter / garter belt?
Garter Size Guide
From the top of the Knee Cap measure up the Leg 6 inches (150mm). At that point take either a Flexible Measuring Tape or a piece of material to find the circumference of your leg.

If your leg circumference is larger than 22" (560mm), we can make plus size garters / garter belts. Simply contact us for pricing.
For your sports garters you ask me to purchase a lapel pin badge. I don't know what a lapel pin badge is / my team does not have a lapel pin badge available?
A lapel pin badge is generally the smallest badge available - usually about 0.5" to 1" (approx. 12mm to 25mm) in width. If your team does not specifically have a lapel pin badge, you may be able to purchase one from eBay or Football Heaven.
